Our weekly clinic at Snoopy’s Home Ice helps develop your skills. From 6-7am on Tuesday mornings, Coach Egan will present players with a different practice plan to help round out their game. We will cover edgework, power skating, stickhandling, shooting, situational awareness and everything in between to improve your game.

Body Contact Camp Level 1

On Ice Camp

This program is designed to help players develop the essential skills of both giving and receiving body contact. Players will learn how to play with confidence in a more physical environment while reducing the risk of injury. In our Level 1 “foundations” session, players will strengthen body contact specific skating fundamentals, angling and gap control, and learn the difference between legal and illegal contact.

Body Contact Camp Level 2

On Ice Camp

In the Level 2 advanced session players will learn proper body mechanics when receiving or making a body check, gain mastery of angling and gap control, and practice using different types of body checking strategies effectively in game situations. Checking along boards, pinning opponents, open ice checking, and reverse checking. Level 2 is appropriate for all 14U players and up (not 12U players). Enrolling in both Level 1 & Level 2 provides players with the maximum training to strengthen their contact readiness.
